These sheep are made up with just two main pieces and two little ears, so perfect for beginners and experienced knitters alike.

The sheep in the photographs use yarn that is spun, dyed and made in Yorkshire from British wool, to reflect where Purl &Jane lives.

You can personalise your sheep by your choice of yarn. You can choose a merino yarn to have an Australian sheep or a yarn made in Italy to have an Italian sheep.

You can also have your own flock of multi coloured sheep!

And you can have bigger or smaller sheep by using different yarn and needles. I used aran weight yarn and 4mm needles to create a firm tension.
If you wanted a smaller sheep, I suggest dk weight yarn with 3.25mm needles.
If you wanted a larger sheep, I suggest chunky weight yarn on 5mm needles. Have a play!

You can also buy this as a printed pattern, priced £4.00, from my website.
