Shell is one of a series of patterns for babies - all inspired by the nature around the North Jutland coast in Denmark.

out the design…This suit is knitted across, beginning from the sleeve and worked towards the middle. It is knitted in Garter stitch, which is very stretchy and will grow a little with the baby. The suit is shaped using short rows - I prefer the technique “German short rows”, but you can use the technique you like the most. The suit is designed, so that it can be used in the car seat, and the large opening with crossover makes it easy to dress and undress the baby.

About yarn…Shell is knitted with 2 threads of fingering wool/cotton.
