This wristband is the first piece of “fan art” that I have created on my own. It is inspired by the umbrella found on the album cover of Connect by Sick Puppies.

I have used Drops Baby Merino for this project, because it is itch free, machine washable and stretchy.

I have very narrow wrists, so if you have more normal-sized wrists you may want to make a larger version of the wristband. If you chose to add stitches, you should add them 12 at a time so that the pattern chart still works. You can also chose to use larger needles, or a chunkier yarn.

I have used less than 10 grams of yarn total, so this project is perfect for using up those annoying scraps of yarn that all knitters collect and just can’t bring themselves to throw away.
