This beginner friendly scarf uses self striping yarn to create a high impact striped scarf (but without having to weave in extra ends).

The scarf uses 2 skeins of I Love This Yarn! in Painted Canyon (although you can substitute another worsted weight yarn with long color changes). I used an I (5.5mm) crochet hook, but would recommend sizing down at least one hook size if you’re a loose crocheter, since I tend to crochet tightly.

The pattern is designed for a 6” wide scarf and a 60” long scarf, but it can easily be adjusted to customize the size.
