A good twinset can make your whole week. Wearing a great cardigan you made yourself? Nirvana. This simple cardi will be the one you reach for over and over again - versatile, dress-it-up or dress-it-down, with shorter sleeves for those times when it’s too cool for just a shirt, and too warm for a full-on wool extravaganza.

The icing on the cake is that the pattern will be created to your own unique gauge and your choice of size.

Sloop is part of the Summer/Fall 2015 CustomFit Basics collection: twice-yearly collections of the classics of our time. Those fundamental, wear-every-day sweaters we can’t wait to throw on. Ready for you to interpret – in your own materials, for your own wardrobe.

Heather is wearing Sloop in an average fit, but it looks great in close and relaxed fits too.

Sporty Kashmir is one of my favorite sweater yarns. It’s soft, it has a gorgeous sheen, and it’s durable too. Plus, it comes in tons of amazing colors.

(One quick note on yardage - the yardage requirements listed are based on my preferred gauge for the recommended yarn. And while I’ve given approximate quantities for standard size sweaters, CustomFit will make your pattern in the size and gauge of your choice. And it’s pretty tough to give yardage requirements for any possible combination! If you’re not using the recommended yarn, and/or you’re not a standard size, I recommend Hannah Fettig’s amazing app, stashbot, to get a sense of your yardage requirements.)
