Snow Lily is a cuff down sock with a patterned fleegle-type heel (no picking up stitches!) and a short rounded toe. These socks were inspired by two warriors from The Elder Scrolls Online, Lyris Titanborn and Sai Sahan. I rarely get sappy about fictional couples, but I found Sai and Lyris’ deep affection and friendship very touching. “Snow Lily” is Sai’s nickname for Lyris, and the cable designs are inspired by her armour and long braid.

Three sizes are charted, but there is an option to do an extra chart repeat for an XL size (more info in pattern). The twisted stitches and cables pull in quite a bit, so you will need a bigger cast on number than a vanilla (plain stockinette) sock. This pattern benefits greatly from blocking!

I would like to thank my test knitters, your efforts are invaluable.

Feedback is always welcome!

Happy Knitting :)
