A basic pattern for a 10-sided rug out of large amounts of sock yarn scraps. The rug is crocheted with 8 strands of sock yarn held together -- it uses up yarn quickly. You could use 4 strands of DK weight instead.

Crocheted from the centre out, this rug can be made to any size. 500g/17.6oz of sock yarn will make a rug of approximately 60cm/24”, while 2kg/4.4lbs will make a rug approximately 127cm/50”.
