This is a great introduction to sock knitting - you will quickly learn the construction of a top down sock!

Socks Done Right is written for first time sock knitters, as well as experienced sock knitters who appreciate clear instructions and stockinette stitch.

The pattern includes instructions for 4 sizes - Child, Teen, Woman and Man.
Foot length is easily adapted by knitting more or less rows, before toe shaping.

These socks are knit seamlessly in the round, at a gauge of 5 stitches per inch on double pointed needles.

Socks Done Right requires between 150-300 yards worsted weight yarn, size 6 double pointed needles (or size needed for gauge), stitch markers, and a tapestry needle.

Samples were knit with Berroco Vintage yarn, but any comparable worsted weight yarn will work for these socks.

Skills required are casting on, knitting and purling, joining work in the round, decreasing, and picking up stitches (for heel).

These Socks Done Right knit up so quickly - you’ll want to make a pair for everyone you know!

Don’t be afraid to knit socks! Pattern includes clear instructions for constructing the sock, as well as clear instructions for kitchener stitch.

Enjoy knitting and wearing your socks, and please post photos!
