About the name: The prototype for this hat was made for Andrew Carter who is a much-respected living (English) composer of church music after he composed a beautiful piece of music for my husband. “Solo to Swell Reversible” was an inspiration by cathedral organist Robert Gower with reference to the reversibility of the pattern and garment as well as how a single pattern (solo registers on the organ) is turned into a chorus (swell registers on the organ). “Solo to Swell Reversible” is a coupler which links these two parts of the organ together.
Zum Namen dieses Musters: Der Prototyp war ein Geschenk an den Kirchenmusikkomponisten Andrew Carter, der ein wunderbares Stück für meinen Mann komponiert hat, wobei Organist Robert Gower die Inspiration dieses Titels war. Solo ist ein bestimmter Teil der Orgel, ebenso das Schwellwerk. Solo an Schwell Reversibel ist ein Koppelmechanismus, der die beiden Teile der Orgel miteinander kombiniert.
