4/11: The Spider Stitch Shawl is now available as an individual pattern PDF from my Ravelry store. I’ve updated and corrected the charts; now every row (including WS rows) is charted.

10/09: This is my first published shawl pattern! I’m very happy with how it has turned out -- the Malabrigo Lace yarn is lovely to knit with, and worked really well with the stitch.

There is an error in Chart A in the magazine -- you can see a corrected chart here. (Be sure to click the link to the larger image, as the resolution of the smaller image may make some of the double decreases hard to see!)

This triangular shawl is knit from the center back out, so you can easily modify the size by working more or fewer repeats of the body or edge stitches. The pattern is charted. To knit the sample, I used one full skein and about half of the second skein, meaning the total yardage used was approximately 750-800 yards.
