This long cardigan is worked in one piece from top down. It’s slightly A-shaped and features eyecatching cables and eyelet increases.

Finished Measurements
Bust circumference 34 ¼ (38 ¼, 42 ¼, 46 ¼, 50 ¼)” /
87 (97, 107.5, 117.5, 127.5) cm.
Intended to be worn with 2-4” / 5-10 cm of positive ease.

Total length of the cardigan is same in every size which is due to very long pattern repeats (8” / 20.5 cm). Because of this, the underarm to hem measurement gets progressively smaller in larger sizes. Difference in this length between smallest and largest size is 3 ½“ / 9 cm.

Because of that, I have provided detailed instructions for making the cardigan one pattern repeat longer. These instructions are marked with blue color throughout the pattern.

Yarn
905 (985, 1060, 1145, 1220) yds / 825 (900, 970, 1045, 1115) m bulky yarn of your own choice that gives you the correct gauge.
Making the body longer, requires approx. 200 (220, 235, 250, 270) yds / 180 (200, 215, 230, 245) m more yarn.

Yarn used for sample is no longer available. Good substitutions would be for example:
Knit Picks Cadena; 110 yds / 101 m per 100 g skein; 70% Peruvian Highland Wool, 30% Superfine Alpaca
Hjertegarn Natur Uld; 110 yds / 101 m per 100 g skein; 100 % wool
Reynolds Lopi (aka Álafoss Lopi); 110 yds / 101 m per 100 g skein; 100 % wool
