This pattern is available from slightly-sheepish.com for £2.50.

This pattern (available at www.slightly-sheepish.com) is to make a bag featuring a design based on the Volkswagen (VW) Splitscreen Campervan.
The bag can be made with or without a shoulder strap so you could also use it as an iPad cover (other tablets are available!).
I lined mine with fleece and added a zip for security.
The strap is also backed in fabric to stop it stretching and is attached to the bag using two large wooden buttons (buttonholes were stitched using a sewing machine).
To make the bag in the photo I used Twilley of Stamford’s Freedom Echo Recycled Cotton which is in a double knit (DK) weight and gives a firm, not too stretchy finish. You could use any cotton but of course this is all down to personal preference. This bag was completed using 3 x 50g balls of yarn, two red and one cream and is worked on 4mm needles (UK no.8, US6).
The finished bag measure approximately 30cm long and 25cm wide (excluding straps).
