Spruce is worked with bands of slip stitch, our favorite way to add a quick color pattern to a piece of knitting. Carry one color at a time—no floats, no uneven tension. This version of the hat was made with leftovers of yarn at the bottom of Pam’s work basket that came together surprisingly well. So many color possibilities!
