Squirtle is a small, blue, turtle like water type pokemon that is the first stage of its evolution. It shell provides much protection when attacked allowing it to with drew in to the itself to evade the attack. It can shoot an impressive amount of water from it’s mouth with great accuracy. It enjoy playing in cool ponds and lakes or in the case of the Squirtle Squad playing tricks on other people.

Worked entirely in the round, you will begin with the head and work the body separately. All limbs, except the tail curl, are worked in the round as well from the the body outwards no seems needed. For shaping purposes you will be picking up stitches on the shell and knitting in a different color. You will need to know how to single chain crochet for the edging on the shell.
