St. Petersburg Russia, Orthodox tradition / styles (overlapped Onion domes and matryoshka dolls ) inspired… St. Petersburg is an enchanted city and reminded me 陀思妥耶夫斯基 Dostoevsky “White nights”, and White nights festival.

The designs were inspired by the Saint Basil’s Cathedral and the Savior on Blood in Saint and many others. The picture was mainly focused on the distinguished “Onion domes” with the “angle” I liked it.

The other main inspiration was the painting “Evening Bells, “晚鐘” (Isaac Levitan, 1892). It shows the mysteries and tranquil atmosphere surrounding the church…with old time charm.
