This pattern will show you how to crochet a stained glass square. As written, the square is 8” across. Make sure that you follow the pattern carefully so that all of the stitches end up in the right place. Step-by-step pictures are included to help make the pattern easier to follow.

I used Yarn Bee Aurora Borealis in Dusk Dance, but you can substitute another medium weight (4) muticolored yarn for a unique look. I found that I could finish 7 squares from 1 skein of Aurora Borealis. For the black sections, I used I Love This Yarn! in Black. The entire square is made using a J (6.0mm) crochet hook. I also recommend using a stitch marker and a tapestry needle for weaving in ends.
