This is an advanced pattern and I wouldn’t recommend it for a beginner

This pattern is for a beautiful Star Stitch Hat that is worked in the round.

I have only one size which is for an adult and it does fit rather loosely
The finished item measures about 22 inches around but would stretch quite a bit

I would highly recommend watching the video tutorial from moogly if you are not comfortable or familiar with this stitch

I do not have an exact yardage but will say that this particular stitch is quite the yarn eater and I used a bit over half a skein of each color so be sure to have a full skein of each when starting

I highly recommend viewing the Star Stitch tutorial mentioned in the pattern stitches used before attempting to start this hat. Kristin’s instructions are written so well that you are able to breeze right through the pattern and have a beautiful finished hat in just a few hours. This is not a pattern for beginners but any average or experienced crocheter will not have any problems. Truly a wonderful and not your standard hat pattern.
