This is a 12 inch granny square pattern great for making blankets. It’s a good way to use up some scrap yarn or burn through your basic worsted weight yarn you might have around.

The number of squares will determine the number of skeins you need. I made five squares with one skein and some scrap yarn for the accent colors.

Material List:
Worsted Weight (4) yarn in three colors (I used RedHeart brand)
5 mm crochet hook
Scissors
Darning Needle (for the ends)
Stitch Markers (optional)

Stitches Used:
Chain = CH
Slip Stitch = SLST
Single Crochet = SC
Half Double Crochet = HDC
Double Crochet = DC
Front Post Double Crochet = FPDC
Front Post Double Trebel = FPDT
