Part of the Back to School pattern set for September’s leethal quick knits club, designed for the worsted-ish spun recycled cotton yarn included. The pattern includes instructions for stiffening the bookmark with glue+water, or you could use fabric stiffener.

The knit piece could also be turned into a cuff instead of a bookmark if you want, by sewing the ends together, or adding buttons/snaps/velcro for closure.

Included with this design is a quick how-to for pen/pencil covers, which isn’t really a pattern, so it’s grouped together with the bookmark, meant for using up leftover yarn scraps.
