This Christmas stocking is colorful and fun. It looks more complicated than it is, as much of the color comes from simple stripes in a mix of traditional and non-traditional colors. Christmas doesn’t yell “lime” and “teal” but add these colors in with some holiday red and white and the result is a winner. Choice of wrapped, rolled edge (shown) or hemmed edge. Instructions are a mix of written and graphs.

Clear written instructions and easy-to-read graphs. One size.

Advanced beginner level. Helpful video links and notes for those new to stranded knitting are included on last page.

Large Stitch Holder
Size J Crochet hook OR 6” piece of 1 inch wide ribbon for hanger

Gauge: 22 sts = 4 in / 10 cm (not critical in a stocking but there it is)
Smaller needles and gauge for worsted yarn keep the fabric tight and less likely to stretch when filled.

Finished Size: Approx 6.5 in / 16.25 cm wide x 13.5 in / 34 cm from cuff to bottom of heel then approx 6 in / 15 cm from heel to toe (after blocking.)
