I imagine wearing this cowl as I make my way down bustling city streets. I love how the simplicity of the design adds just the right amount of interest without distracting from the rest of the outfit.

I chose the name for this cowl based on the fact that I could see myself wearing it on a trip into the city, and on the fact that the diamond grid pattern reminds me of the grid-like layout of New York city streets.

This pattern utilizes slipped stitches over a stockinette background to create a smooth diamond pattern that really pops.
