Information on Sugar and Spice Earflap Beanie

Materials needed: worsted weight yarn,

• H8/5.00, or I9/5.50 crochet hook (or hook needed for gauge),
• yarn needle (for weaving in ends, and sewing on your flower).
• Optional 52 inches Venice or flower lace (for the braids of your earflaps)

Recommended yarn - worsted weight

(I use Caron Simply Soft, and that is what is shown in all pictures. My friend Courtney at http://www.etsy.com/people/DaddyMackHats uses “I love this yarn”, which is slightly thicker, and she moves down a hook size to achieve the same measurements.)
