Are you a knitter in the winter and a gardener in the summer? Are your busy summer days filled with wonderful things to do? When you’re all done with your day and you’re relaxing in the fabulous summer evenings, do you think about knitting?

Does the thought of knitting warm fabric in the summertime just not thrill you and you can’t imagine handling fall and winter projects when the weather is so gorgeous, but do you still want to knit?

Why not try knitting a cool cotton yarn into something fabulous?

Here’s a really fun project for you. It’s so easy!
You may also make a wider version of the scarf or transform it into a shawl.

It’s COOL and comfortable in your hands and a perfect project for social knitting. You won’t even get messed up if you have that second glass of wine!

You may not think you’ll ever wear a scarf or shawl in the summertime, however, remember those two-cool air-conditioned spaces in office buildings and stores or the occasional chilly evening breeze after you’ve spent many hours in the sun. You need a little something to toss around your neck or lightly drape over your shoulders. This pattern is perfect for those times.

The finished size of the scarf is 6” wide x 64” long. Gauge is not relevant.

Enjoy!
