The Breezy Summer Shrug is worked flat in one piece with thicker needles than the yarn requires to achieve a more laid back result. The piece is worked starting with the back piece, then casting off for the neck and continuing with the left front piece while the stitches for the right front piece are put aside. Then the piece is folded in the middle and the fronts and back are seamed at the sides. The neckline is picked up and knit after in double rib. The sleeve edges are picked up and knit last in a gradual way to create the frilling effect.
