This quick and easy pattern has three style options--a sunsuit, a dress/tunic, or a top/vest. All three start with wide straps and a cute ribbed panel in the back to give a good fit to the bodice. The lower body flares enough to be roomy and comfortable with plenty of room for a cloth diaper, if desired. Three buttons on the gusset make for easy diaper changes.

The directions are written for DK-weight yarn and a size US 5/3.75 mm needle, but it also includes charts for converting the pattern to sport/baby weight (6 st./in) or worsted (4.5 st./in), so it’s a real stash-buster!

There is a lot of plain, relaxing knitting, and the only special techniques needed are the provisional cast-on and short-row shaping in the back. And it’s completely seamless, with no weaving or grafting.
