This cute crocheted hat is a cross between a beanie and a beret. It’s not overly slouchy but it’s not exactly that fitted at the crown either.

It’s crocheted shells or fans give it a lacy appearance and lets your scalp breathe.

The hat can be made from any Worsted weight yarn you wish. I used Dream in Color Classy in the colorway Lunar Zazzle to make the hat in the photos. I also used some black yarn at the hat’s edge for maximum contrast but you can make the hat all in one color too.
