This is a super easy pdf format pattern for a crochet yarn or thread crochet dove shape, worked in a variety of materials (as you wish).
This pattern shows you materials (steel crochet hook, size 4 or larger and thread crochet cotton, OR yarn and a size G or H hook), a key for abbreviations, photos, and of course, written detailed instructions for crocheting the dove.

It works out to be 2 1/2 inches to 5 inches long, depending on your thread and the tightness of your work.
