This is a triangular shaped shawlette, worked in one piece, from the top down. Casting on requires using the provisional cast-on method. Beads are optional, but they do add a beautiful touch to this shawl.

Instructions for this shawlette are provided in both written and charted format.

The design for this Sweetheart Shawlette was inspired by a KAL on the Old Maiden Aunt group. As the knit-along was taking place close to Valentine’s Day, the theme was love.
One of the new colours in the Old Maiden Aunt range is called ‘Twu Wuv’, so in keeping with the theme, I have used the gorgeous sparkle 4ply in this shade to create my shawlette.
