This cowl is knit in the round, with two option for the edge.
Option 1 is to start with stockinette section. Work the body of the cowl with swirly pattern, and finish it with another stockinette section.
Option 2 is to start with I-cord cast on. Work the body of the cowl in swirly pattern. Use I-cord bind off for a nice finish.

Finished Measurements:
Cowl: 24” (61 cm) long (circumference) and 11” (28.5 cm) wide (tall).

Use that single skein of worsted weight yarn with yardage over 200 yards in your favorite color. The pattern is reversible and looks great in any color, even in self stripping yarn.
