Tangier is a light, lacy cardigan knit from the top down. It features contiguous set-in sleeves, method from SusieM .
The lace is very simple, easily memorized and all wrong-side rows are purled. When choosing a size, consider that lace is stretchy and the cardigan grows when blocked. Pattern calls for measurements during knitting to be done slightly stretched. There is no waist shaping or hip increases, so if you are a person whose hips are considerably wider than your bust, you may want to omit the buttonholes and wear the cardigan open instead.
