The Tardis bag is just like Dr Who’s phone box. It is bigger on the inside than the out. Expanding to accommodate larger loads however it lays flat and small until extra space is needed.

This bag is adjustable to various yarns see the note at the end of this pattern.

SIZE: One size Finished measurements are Width: 15 inches, 38 cm, Height: 9 inches, 23 cm

MATERIALS
It uses 4 skeins of Moda Vera, Fishnet Fever 100% Acrylic; 32 yd/30 m per 100g skein; and the color in the picture is Primary Mix Lot 1209.

(Note: this needle size used in this pattern is larger than the recommended size for this yarn. This creates a loose weave that allows the bag to stretch).

You will also need 2 buttons large enough for a loop to go around as a clasp for the bag.

This pattern is a very easy knit and suitable for beginners who know how to pick up stitches or who wish to knit their panels separately then sew them together at the construction of the garment.

My thanks to Rikihall and Truki for testing this pattern - it’s good to have great pattern testers who find all those bugs that might be lurking before sale.
