RHINE BECK 2017!! To celebrate the partnership between Rachel Atkinson and Jill Draper this year, Thea Colman and I combined these beautiful yarns in two Rhinebeck designs. You can find Thea’s Rye & Rum Punch pullover here on Ravelry (it’s shown in the combined photo at left).

Targhidean is a large, asymmetrical, three-color shawl. Dropped stitches make it light and airy to wear, while slipped stitches add colorwork without the need to carry two yarns at once.

At 100” across the top edge this oversized shawl is a delight to wear. Wrap it several times around your neck, or snuggle up in its generous size.

The stunning colors of Jill Draper’s Monhonk Light pair beautifully with the deep, natural brown of Daughter of a Shepherd’s 4ply. Have fun selecting colors from among the beauties Jill offers in Mohonk Light.

Although this is a shawl, it is important to obtain gauge in order to avoid running out of yarn. Adjust needle size as necessary to obtain gauge. The gauge given in the pattern is a blocked gauge.
