26 sts and 36 rows = 4” in Stockinette Stitch on US #4.
28 sts and 40 rows = 4” in Arrow Rib pattern on US #4.

About Gauge: Both stitch and row gauge are VERY important in this pattern. If you’re substituting yarn please be careful to take both into account especially in the stockinette section!
