The Cottage Cowl is truly a design from the heart. In collaboration with my dear friend Robyn @theartandcraftcottage, this pattern captures the historic beauty of own little town of Ipswich, located in South-East Queensland, Australia.

This pattern has instructions for two sizes - small (25”) and medium (28”), but adjustments are available to make this a custom fit.

We have chosen a beautiful merino yarn, Bellissimo 100% Extra-fine 8ply, for this cowl as it captures the texture of the stitches perfectly. For the medium size, I used approximately 440m of yarn, which was 3 1/2 balls.

I have included a photo tutorial in the pattern, and suggest this is for an intermediate crocheter. In saying this, many beginning crafters testing this design and were able to complete it with no problems

This pattern has been tested by fifteen amazing ladies who have used a range of merino and acrylic yarns. It is quite a versatile pattern, one that you can adjust to any width or length, depending on your yarn choice.
