This deceptively simple one-row pattern makes a reversible delicate, yet strong, scarf that can be made in no time. After the setup row, this is a one-row pattern that makes for a great portable project or TV/movie crocheting. This meditative stitch pattern is also great for comfort/prayer/charity giving.

Using a larger crochet hook and fingering weight yarn makes for a delicate, slightly squishy texture that is pleasing to the eye and to the touch. But any yarn weight can be used with hooks larger than what is usually called for on the ball band.

Pattern can easily be resized by adding or subtracting pattern repeats to make a wider or narrower scarf, shawl, or throw.
