New and Improved

The Kitty Hat is a quick, bulky knit that can be finished in a couple of hours. The ears are knit separately from the hat and then stitched on. The pattern is easily customizable – it can be knit without the kitty ears for a simple beanie (The BIG Hat) or customized to look like a fox (The Fox Hat). Pattern includes yarn suggestion, gauge, measurements, abbreviations and my email for additional questions.

This pattern is written with American knitting terminology on US 13 circular needles with chunky yarn. The hat measures about 9” from top to bottom and 8” across the center diameter.

Knit on US11 (8mm) circular needles and DPNs of the same/similar size. Uses one skein/~100g of chunky yarn.
