This is the beret you have been looking for to use up the left overs of your last pullover or shawl. It creates a wonderfully matching accessory for that certain matchy-match days every knitter has from time to time while spreading some French revolutionary spirit. With this it could easily be a part of Zoey Pierson’s wardrobe. (You remember Ted’s Season 6 girlfriend, who wore a beanie on almost every HIMYM episode she appeared in?)

Its easy construction and few pattern rows are easy to memorize and will be manageable for brioche and hat beginners. The shape is created through the use of different needles sizes and uses only few more complicated stitches than the regular brioche stitch.

By the way:
The amazing shawl I wear on the photos is the Exploration Station shawl by Stephen West! :)
