This cute little owl is made from just one ball of yarn. I knitted the front first then pulled out different colours of yarn to make the wings, feathers, eyes, beak and feet. The back of the owl can easily be made from what’s left. I also used two 20mm buttons for eyes. Buttons with four holes look better than buttons with two holes.

The Yarn Owl now has the addition of an Owlet to keep him company. If you use a ball of James C Brett Monsoon you can make An Owl and at least one Owlet from one ball.
