The Tilda Cardigan takes a great basic shape and embellishes it with whimsical details. The column of eyelets along each side seam begins at the hem and flows directly into the raglan lines on both fronts and back. The stockinette button band is flanked on either side by a pair of simple cables, while the garment’s body and three-quarter sleeves are trimmed with an optional contrasting color rolled edge. The generous scoop neck begs to be styled with shirts featuring interesting collars (or cowls). It’s a fun, relaxing knit that can be enjoyed by beginner-intermediate and advanced knitters alike!

  • Pieces are worked flat from the bottom up.
  • After assembly, the collar is picked up and worked, followed by the button and buttonhole bands.
