These fun little Toddler Loafers are the perfect gift to keep the special little feet in your life cozy and warm.

This pattern includes several high definition photos, as well as written instructions in easy to understand terms. This pattern includes U.S. Toddler sizes 6-10, and is designed for a Beginner to Intermediate Skill level Knitter.

These slippers are knit with 2 colors of DK weight 100% wool felting yarn, and 6” - size 7 (4.5mm) DPNs. The pattern has also been tested with both Worsted and Aran Weight yarns, with successful results, however please be aware that the heavier the yarn used, the less the stitches will felt using the recommended gauge. This is due to the fact that felting requires an adequate amount of room between stitches to be properly executed.

If you’ve never felted before, this is a perfect beginner project! It’s felted in the washing machine, in an easy peasy process, and there are detailed instructions to guide you along the way. Instructions are given for Top Loading and Front Loading washing machines, as well as a Hand Felting alternative.
