Der Sweater Portree ist von oben nach unten mit Raglanärmeln gestrickt. Dadurch bekommt er einen perfekten Sitz und kann jeder Größe angepasst werden.
Die Idee zu diesem Pullover kam mir während meines Urlaubs auf der Isle of Skye. Das Hafenstädtchen Portree besticht u.a. durch seine kleinen farbigen Häuser und das wunderschöne handgefärbte Garn von Shilasdair passte da doch einfach perfekt.
Die Garnmenge ist wirklich erstaunlich:
338g von der Hauptfarbe Indigo Medium, 33g Meadowsweet Yellow und nur 21g Madder Orange.

The Sweater Portree is knitted from top to bottom with raglan sleeves. This gives it a perfect fit and can be adjusted to any size.
The idea for this jumper came to me during my holiday on the Isle of Skye. The harbour town Portree captivates among other things by its small coloured houses and the beautiful hand dyed yarn from Shilasdair fits perfectly.
The amount of yarn is really amazing:
