Trey, noun: a thing having three of something, especially a card or die showing three pips

Somehow, without meaning to, I found I’d sort of forgotten to knit. For almost a month, I’d not knit a single stitch. When I realized this, I was shocked. I knew I needed a ridiculously quick project to get yarn and needles back in my hand and remind me what I like about knitting.

This little cuff was just the ticket. It only took about 25 yards of super bulky yarn, and it worked up in about an hour. It was the perfect little reminder of just how satisfying knitting can be.

I’m a huge fan of cuffs like this. Somewhere between bracelet and wrist warmer, they are both cute and practical. They fit anyone (just keep going till it’s big enough), take only tiny bits of yarn, and offer the perfect platform to show off your favorite buttons. You really can’t go wrong! Even the kitten likes this one.
