These fingerless mittens are worked flat and stitched up the outside edge and down the inside of the thumb, which I find much less fiddly than working with a circular needle or double-pointed needles. You can make them as long as you like simply by working the cuff a bit longer and while I opted for a super soft baby yarn, any yarn that fits the tension should work well. I’ve made them to measure 3.75 inches across the palm, but the size can be adjusted by using a different size needle.
