Ubergang is a simple, but effective and luxury idea to create a multicolored shawl - starting with wide stripes of pastel colors and ending with smaller stripes of intense colors. It´s a large shawl worked in one-color brioche knitting, featuring altogether twelve colors of two contrasting Gradient Sets.

Ubergang is fairly easy for beginners and brioche newbies - using small stripes of one-color-brioche. There is no purling and the pattern repeat is only 4 rows. So it´s not a design about a shape or a pattern - it´s all about colors!
