Fast to knit and easy to wear, this not-so-basic hat will add a pop of color to any winter outfits! The hat is designed to be slightly slouchy at the top and is available in three sizes for a perfect fit.

Difficulty: Advanced Beginner (skills required: knitting in the round, decreasing)

Sizes: To fit head circumference 20 (22, 24)” – 51 (55, 61) cm

Materials:

  • Quince & Co. Osprey (100% wool, 170 yd / 155 m to 100 g)

    Colorway A: 1 hank in color Chanterelle (MC) and 1 hank in color Apricot (CC)

    Colorway B: 1 hank in color Storm (MC) and 1 hank in color Split pea (CC)

  • 6 mm (US size 10) 16” (40 cm) circular needles OR size to obtain gauge

  • 6 mm (US size 10) double pointed needles (set of 4)

  • 5 stitch markers

  • Tapestry needle
