Urban Decay? sounds pretty bad…but it’s not.

To me the moss stitch border looked like foundation stones from an old building, and the way that the fine yarn sections cause the heavy cable sections to collapse made me think of buildings falling into ruins.

But in the case of this cowl the collapse causes cosy, warm layers. The firmness of the cabled aran ameliorated by the gossamer fine but strong mohair.

This cowl is a quick easy knit which will be a funky addition to your winter wardrobe.

I used Filatura di Crosa Charly, an aran weight wool yarn.
