Pattern includes full instructions to create a handbag using fingering, long-change variegated yarn or two colours of sport weight yarn. Construction details can be combined in order to create different models.
Bottom is worked flat, the rest is worked in the round in an easy, quick stitch pattern using slipped stitches that create a wavy effect. The yoke of version A is worked in plain stockinette, whereas version B features a knit/purl zigzag pattern. Two tabs hold D-rings to which a strap is attached with snap hooks.
Version A uses 70g of the suggested yarn. Version B uses 1 ball of blue yarn and 1 1/2 balls of rust yarn. Additional colours can be used if desired.
Sample bags feature a woven fabric lining with zipper. Pattern includes full instructions to sew a lining with pocket and zipper to fit each version.
See schematic in Photos section for more information on the dimensions.
