Nothing in the Verse should stop you from knitting this sweater! Perfect for those moments of joyful dancing, but can also be worn when running from angry villagers. There was much debate among my friends about whether the sweater this is based on, from the all-too-quickly-canceled Firefly, was red or pink. So while this one is knit in pinkish tones, feel free to go for a yarn with more red tones.
If you want it really baggy, the way it was worn in the show, knit one size up. It’s knit from the top down, making it easy to adjust and change the sizing as you knit! This is also a great “first sweater” project, as it’s supposed to look a little bit worn and crazy!
