This shawl is made using 3 and a half skeins of fingering/sock/4ply weight yarn.

If you have made my Versailles shawlette you will recognise some of the same stitch sequences, as it begins in the same way.

With it echoing some of an already published pattern, I will be donating 20% of every sale of this design to charity.
The funds will go to Sands.org.uk who are a stillbirth and baby death charity.

I hope that the sales from this design will help future babies and their parents and that together our donations will help make a difference to this heart-breaking situation that touches the lives of many.
The shawl itself it made to a large size that’s lovely to wrap yourself in, worked top down, it’s a design that’s suitable for all abilities, using simple lace and plain stitches.
