I love the look of shell stitches, but wanted to make them a little different than normal. I adapted the shell for this pattern to add an interesting 3D effect. The texture on this scarf is amazing. It’s bulky and cozy and looks great!

Must have basic knowledge of double crochet and front post stitches.

I loved the way the shells look with this stitch combo. I thought they resembled flowers. Then I was told that they resemble labia, and that’s all I can see lol. It makes me loves the scarf even more!! Whether you see flowers, or feathers or labia, this is a beautiful stitch, and a beautiful scarf.
